
Operating as a co-ed residential facility for adults with intellectual disabilities coupled with extreme medical or behavioral challenges since May of 1983. The 24 residents all receive 24-hour nursing care, personal care and teaching as an alternative to institutional living.
The main objective at Woodhouse is to provide individuals with opportunities for fulfillment by teaching self-care skills, community safety, home maintenance, heath maintenance, and healthy expressions of emotions. To achieve this, each person has an interdisciplinary team comprised of professionals from various fields who look at the whole person and help them develop a plan for meeting their future goals.
